Congratulations to the Downers Grove Park District for being named a finalist for the 2009 Gold Medal Award. Sponsored by the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA), the Gold Medal Award is the most prestigious award in the industry. The Downers Grove Park District won once before in 1983. The winner of the 2009 award will be announced in October.
